Homemade Bird Feeders.

Ok, so maybe im a tad bit intrigued by things and get enjoyment of little things that a second grader would.
I was sitting on the porch with my husband. We started talking about making homemade humming bird feed, and some how got into a discussion a pine cone bird feeders. YES, pine cones smothered in peanut butter and dipped in bird seed!
Im so juvenile, but I loved it. Its nice too look out of my windows in the morning getting to see the birdies enjoy my art craft. I unfortunately had to do some trial and error. Mainly because I thought of this fantastic idea (well what I thought was a fantastic idea) of turning them into almost a wind chime..? Hmm. Where I get things things I dont even know. But my wonderful husband decided to fix it for me. He made a second platform for my little friends to stand on! :)
Nothing like knowing the weather is starting to brighten up and that soon im going to be able to rock with my boys on the porch in my Cracker Barrel rocking chairs and smell the scent of my butterfly attracting flowers.

First Time as a Second Shooter.

Such an amazing experience! I was surfing around looking on Craigslist....yes craigslist and came across the opportunity to be a Second Shooter at a Wedding. Fortunately he was not the Craigslist killer! His name is Devon Murphey a very talented photographer. We met in the morning at the Starbucks in Knoxville, TN. He gave me all kinds of pointers he had learned through out his journey as a Lifestyle photographer. It was so nice to be able to learn from some one who has already experienced alot of things and done so much research. The fact that some one is willing to help me step my toes into the world of Wedding Photography is something I am so eternally grateful for. Not many people are willing to give their own personal information or time to help anyone out. Although I cannot share a picture of my work until he has already given the couple their photographs I will share one picture from the day. If anyone needs an amazing photographer please contact him!

Now back to the experiance. So nervous! But it was amazing. Being able to be a part of one of the most important days of a couples life. There really are no words to describe it.
